v0.9.1

We just pushed out a long overdue maintenance release (v0.9.1) with a collection of bug fixes. The release includes some compatibility fixes with the Block and Classic editors. We’ve also tested the plugin with WordPress 5.3 in preparation for the upcoming release. For a full list of changes, you can read the release notes.

Expect another bug fix release in a few weeks as we work through our backlog of issues.

And thanks to everyone who contributed to this version!

How to Update?

You can update directly from your WordPress Dashboard (Dashboard > Updates), or download the release from the Plugin Directory or the GitHub repo.

  1. Thank you so much for keeping this great plugin alive!!!!

  2. Hi, when we try to schedule a post, there’s an error that keeps popping up (see below). Do you know why this happens? We’re using WordPress 5.2.4.

    TypeError: m.find(…) is undefined https://www.mccallionstaffing.com/wp-content/plugins/edit-flow/blocks/dist/custom-status.build.js?ver=0.9.1 line 1

    • Hi JP! Sorry that you’re having issues. Are you using the Block Editor or the Classic Editor?

      • We’re using the Block Editor. Also, I went around this by changing the post status to “Published” using the Quick Edit feature in the Posts page, but now when I try to edit the post, it’s a white page. Viewing the source code, the page is actually loaded. Looking at my browser’s console logs, it’s saying the same error “m.find() is undefined.” from the same custom-status.build.js file.

    • This should be fixed in 0.9.2. Let us know if you’re still having issues (and sorry about trouble!)

  3. Hi there,

Thank you for keeping edit flow alive. I appreciate you.

I upgraded my site to WP 5.3 today and our edit post page is just a blank white page whne the edit flow plugin is activated. Is anyone else experiencing this?

    peace

    • please disregard my previous question. I have resolved this issue. The conflict only as with scheduled posts created shortly before the WordPress update happened. We are all good. Thank you for all that you do.

      cheers

  4. On our recently updated WP v.5.3, Edit-Flow v.0.9.1 breaks Gutenberg (Block) Editor when trying to schedule post. JS error reads:
custom-status.build.js Uncaught (in promise) TypeError: Cannot read property ‘label’ of undefined

Had to revert back to version 0.8.2 and now everything is ok.

  5. Really great that you are working on this terrific plugin! Had some issues I was working around myself, but the new version fixed most of them, great work!
